PLEASE NOTE! MSCR has a new, online Employment Application system. To apply for any current MSCR job posting, you must use this system-no paper applications will be accepted. MSCR only accepts applications for current job postings. Follow these instructions to look for and apply for an MSCR position:

1) Go to Job Opening Listings and view the current open positions.

2) To begin the application process click the Apply For A Job button to begin.

3) Note! You will be taken to our online application system that we share with Madison Metropolitan School District. You will have to create an Account and then you can look at and apply for any posted MSCR jobs. On the Application be sure to select MSCR on the first question regarding Applicant Type, so you can view the MSCR jobs.

First deadline for applications for Summer 2012 is March 9, 2012.
Applications received by March 9, 2012 will be reviewed beginning Monday, March 12.
We will re-post for any remaining openings beginning March 14, 2012.
Second deadline is Thursday, April 12. Applications received by April 12, 2012 will be reviewed beginning Friday, April 13, 2012.
Any remaining openings will be posted until positions are filled.

SUMMER 2012 JOB OPENINGS:

SREC Elementary Programs – Program Leader (15) $10.40/hr 6/11/2012 – 7/27/2012

Seasonal employment: Week of June 11, up to 40 hours/week. Weeks of June 18-July 23, up to 25 hours/week. Monday-Friday, ~11:30 am-4:30 pm. Positions available at Allis, Chavez, Hawthorne, Huegel, Leopold, Marquette, Mendota and Van Hise Elementary Schools Plan and lead recreation and enrichment activities for elementary-age children at school sites. Supervise indoor and outdoor activities and field trips. Work as a team with other program staff to carry out responsibilities. Interact with parents as needed. Prior experience working with children required, preferably from diverse backgrounds. Must have proven dependability, teamwork, leadership skills, flexibility and enthusiasm to participate in all aspects of program. Prior experience working with elementary age children desired. Experience planning and leading activities. Bilingual in Spanish or Hmong a plus. Must attend mandatory paid training the week of 6/11/2012. Accommodations may be made for staff working MMSD Summer School. Experience inventory on application website must be completed.
